Albuquerque, NM, is a uniquely beautiful city. From the wide mesas to the towering peaks of the Sandia Mountains, it’s a place where the grandeur of God’s design can be clearly seen. Yet for all its beauty, it’s also a city with many problems.

Homelessness, drug use, violent crime, and widespread poverty have ravaged this city and in many ways, overshadowed its beauty. As much as the beauty of Albuquerque’s landscape is true, so also is the desperate state of neighborhoods and citizens. Our city needs help and more than what politicians can offer. We need God!

However, while Albuquerque is in a bad place, it is not without hope. The problems that ails this beautiful city can be fixed, and it’s beauty restored once again. Not by enacting new laws or electing new politicians, but by a city full of individuals returning to a true faith in Jesus Christ. When we love Christ, we cannot help but love our neighbor and care for our city. Man will not save us, only God can save us!
